What would you do if your mom told you that you had to wear the same dress for 365 days?
Although it seems crazy, the designers Matheiken and Eliza Starbuck have invented a dress that you can wear in one thousand different ways so that you can wear it every day of the year and it will always look new. The goal when making the dress was to make money for the Akanksha Foundation which fights for the right for all children to go to school and become educated. The designers use materials that don't rip or damage easily and made it in such a way that the front can also be the back and the inside can also be the outside, meaning lots of combinations.
Although the project is very real, the designers in fact use a total of 7 dresses which are exactly the same throughout the year. For the time being, they have made 11 thousand dollars and hope to make a lot more. We hope they do too! We support this unique idea and like that they are trying to help less fortunate people.
